Can we hide lunch and block appointments from the board?

Yes. Add the placeholder patients you book for lunch, meetings or a blocked chair in Settings › Open Dental › Ignored patients. Their appointments are left off the board, alerts and reports, and op tablets show the time as a gray Blocked 12:00 to 1:00 · Lunch tag instead.

Also ignore by last name catches any last name that is exactly one of the listed words, like LUNCH or BLOCK. Nothing changes in Open Dental.
