How do I trust the office certificate on each device?

Updated October 29, 2026 · VisitPing 3.3.2

You only need this if your screens use visitping.local or the server's IP address. Screens on your office address (like brookside.visitping.app) already have a trusted certificate.

Download the certificate on each device from http://visitping.local:3000/ca.cer, then:

  • Windows: open the file, Install Certificate, Local Machine, and put it in Trusted Root Certification Authorities. Then restart the browser.
  • iPhone or iPad: open the link in Safari, install the profile in Settings, then turn it on in Settings › General › About › Certificate Trust Settings.
  • Android: Settings › Security › Encryption & credentials › Install a certificate › CA certificate.

On a Windows domain, every computer can trust it at once: see How do we trust the certificate on every domain computer?
