How do we install the VisitPing app on every front desk computer at once?

Updated October 29, 2026 · VisitPing 3.3.2

Use the .exe with Intune, SCCM or any remote tool, or the .msi with Group Policy. Both install the same app, silently, with your office's address.

Note

You need your office's VisitPing address, like https://brookside.visitping.app. It's at the top of Global settings › VisitPing app.

With the .exe

  1. In Global settings › VisitPing app, download VisitPing-App-Setup.exe.
  2. Run it silently with your office's address:
    VisitPing-App-Setup.exe /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART /SERVER=https://brookside.visitping.app
  3. The app starts at each person's next Windows sign-in, without anyone opening it.

With the .msi

  1. Download it from your VisitPing server at https://brookside.visitping.app/bubble/download.msi.
  2. Install it with your office's address:
    msiexec /i VisitPing-App.msi SERVER=https://brookside.visitping.app /qn
  3. Group Policy can't pass SERVER=, so put a text file named visitping-server.txt holding the office's address next to the .msi on the share.
Tip

Removing the .msi removes the app. After the first install, the app updates itself from your VisitPing server, so nothing needs to be pushed again.

Check that it worked

Global settings › VisitPing app lists every front desk computer with the app, its version, and whether it's Working, needs Fix it, or is Not running.
