What ports and network access does VisitPing need?

Updated October 29, 2026 · VisitPing 3.3.2

Screens reach the server inside the office only. Never forward these ports from the internet.

  • 443 (or 3443) for your office address and https.
  • 3000 for the http link that sends screens to https and serves the certificate.
  • UDP 5353 to announce visitping.local on the network.

The installer opens them in Windows Firewall for the private network. The server itself needs internet for phone alerts, license checks, updates and its certificate; screens inside the office keep working without it.
