How do wait alerts work, and who hears them first?

Updated October 29, 2026 · VisitPing 3.3.2

When a patient has waited too long (in the lobby, for the doctor, or for checkout), the people closest to them hear first, then the lead, then the office manager. Tap I'm on it to take it, and everyone sees who has it. Can't right now or Snooze 5 hides it for you.

When and who is set in Settings › Alerts › Wait alerts and People › Leads.
