How do doctors get alerts on their phone or computer?

Updated October 29, 2026 · VisitPing 3.3.2

Open ⚙ on the doctor screen and tap Turn on next to phone alerts, once on each device. Alerts then arrive even when VisitPing is closed or the phone is locked.

  • iPhone: first add VisitPing to the home screen (Share › Add to Home Screen) and open it from there. Alerts show on the Apple Watch too.
  • Computer: keep the doctor screen open (it can be minimized). Press On my way right on the notification.

Notifications name the op, never the patient.
