How do I get into Global settings?

Updated October 29, 2026 · VisitPing 3.3.2

Anyone whose access role includes Settings signs in with their PIN plus an authenticator code, so the audit log shows who changed what.

  1. Ask another admin for a one-time setup code (People › your name › Make setup code).
  2. Use it once with your PIN to set up an authenticator app, and save the 10 recovery codes.
  3. After that, sign in with your PIN plus the app's code.

Under your name you can add a passkey (Face ID, Windows Hello or a security key) instead of typing the code. Offices can also use Microsoft sign-in for Settings.
